| Overview |
|
GeoCover Landsat imagery covers the most of Earth surface between 80dN and 60dS. For each degree intersection in between, GLCF created a
subset of 20km-by-20km. The subset is applied to all the bands of Landsat ETM+. The resulting
images are saved in GeoTIFF formats, with the previews generated using the 7-4-2 and 4-3-2 band combinations at the same time. This data
set is created for the user to sample the Earth using GeoCover imagery without downloading the whole Landsat scenes.
