OrbView Imagery
|
OrbView imagery is a fine resolution remotely sensed product available to the public through GeoEye. The OrbView-3 satellite and sensor acquires in either multispectral or panchromatic mode. While most OrbView-3 imagery requires payment, this collection was made available for free redistribution by OrbImage to help assist the December 2004 Tsunami recovery. This collection reflects collaboration between the GLCF, the conservation community and the remote sensing industry for some of the protected areas that were directly affected by the December 2004 tsunami.
