OrbView Imagery

Description

The ORBIMAGE imagery donated by GeoEye and provided by GLCF is made available in its native format. An individual scene can be acquired in multispectral (4m), panchromatic (1m) or in stereo through multiple acquisitions (Figure 1). Table 1 details the specific wavelengths covered by each band. The acquisitions have been radiometrically corrected and are provided with satellite telemetry and post-processed GPS points for user orthorectification. The images are provided as GeoTIFF mosaics and should be compatible with most GIS, remote sensing and imaging software. The projection is UTM. All scenes are delivered as 8-bit (not 11-bit) files, for ease of use.
