  • Overview
    This product shows where deforestation occurred in Paraguay during 1990-2000. It is derived from Landsat TM and ETM+ imagery at a resolution of 28.5 meters for the two time periods. Six classes such as Atlantic forest, Chaco woodland, water, non-forest, and deforestation are identified. The product can be used as an example to assess land cover change quantitatively and to help determine the process and pattern of forest cover change.
