• GLCF supports PhD thesis study of Cameroon bush fires

  GLCF provided Landsat imagery in support of a doctoral thesis at the University of Yaoundé. The thesis dealt primarily with bush fire activity in central Cameroon. Prior to the involvement of GLCF, remote sensing was not a consideration due to financial constraints. Subsequent to the involvement of GLCF, accurate spatio-temporal fire maps are now possible.
