Hard Media Orders

All Landsat GeoCover is available for free via FTP at the GLCF. If anyone prefers hard media, however, the GLCF also provides services for a fee. The hard media choices we make available are CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or 250GB external hard disks. All prices include media.

Prices for whole, compressed copies of the Landsat GeoCover datasets onto 250 GB hard drives are:

Prices for copies of compressed discrete Landsat scenes onto 250 GB hard drives are:

MSS scenes	$2,000 per 250 GB hard drive, averaging 7,600 scenes
TM scenes	$2,000 per 250 GB hard drive, averaging 1,500 scenes
ETM+ scenes	$2,000 per 250 GB hard drive, averaging 750 scenes

Prices for copies of uncompressed discrete Landsat scenes onto CD-ROM disks are: $25; maximum CD-ROMs per order = 20. Average number of scenes that fit onto a CD-ROM is: 9 for MSS, 1 or 2 for TM, 1 for ETM+. Note that scene sizes vary.

Prices for copies of uncompressed discrete Landsat scenes onto 2.5 GB DVD-ROM disks are: $100; maximum DVD-ROMs per order = 10. Average number of scenes that fit onto a DVD-ROM is: 37 for MSS, 5 for TM, 3 for ETM+. Note that scene sizes vary.

Prices include media, copying, and handling. All prices are in US dollars.

All orders go into a queue; and will be completed as soon as possible.

All scenes include all bands, and all ancillary information.

All sales include whatever is available at the time of shipping. If updates or replacements are made available to GLCF after shipping, the user will be informed but will have to make new arrangements for any replacements.

Shipping and Handling

Shipping, customs/duties and insurance must be arranged by the customer. The GLCF will coordinate these processes with FedEx if the customer provides account information. The GLCF will provide packaging per FedEx specifications. Customers are encouraged to insure their packages when shipping.
